  • Memberships are individual, but you can bring a guest to special studio events or workshops for a small fee.

  • You can cancel your membership anytime prior to renewal fee. Contact info@apottersplace.com to discuss options. Due to the demand and the limited memberships we are unable to pause memberships. If payment is missed a $25 late fee will be applied to your account.

  • We plan to host a member’s annual sale and work towards a consignment option on our online shop in the near future. We want to highlight Resident Potters frequently on our social media to promote your work and share your exciting discoveries while in the studio.

  • Fees fund equipment maintenance, material and utility overhead, special workshops and artist visits, and community outreach programs—ensuring a vibrant, accessible space for all artists.

  • We offer a wide selection of classes, including beginner-friendly workshops, special topics intensives, and advanced technique courses. Our community encourages peer learning, so everyone grows together. Our facilities are meticulously monitored for clay dust and have new and well maintained equipment. We also offer consulting and project support for Residents. Have ideas on ways to connect or questions about support? Please reach out!

  • We don’t offer refunds, but we’ll work with you to address concerns and ensure you’re getting the most from your membership. Reach out to discuss how we can support your artistic goals.

  • Resident Potter Members get work fired free with student wares (bisque cone 08-04, glaze cone 5-6) in one of our electric kilns. Kilns can be reserved for specialty temperatures (up to cone 10) with a charge depending on cone (time and temperature) (~$40-$80). You can choose from our glaze library or use your own with approval. Fees apply for damaged kiln furniture. Check our Resident Potter Membership page for detailed guidelines.
